Biography

Danielle Kathleen Savre was born on the 26th August, 1988 in Simi Valley, California with a passion for performing. Danielle started acting at 7 years old. By 12 she was auditioning for television and movie roles and she has never looked back since. 

Since breaking on to the Hollywood scene, Danielle has gained stand out roles in the NBC hit Heroes and as the rock star lead for MTV’s Kaya. Danielle also played the leading character in Tyler Perry’s Too Close To Home, CW’s Bloodlines and the CBS pilot Four Stars. In  2017, Danielle landed a leading role in the ABC Grey’s Anatomy spin off, Station 19, where she plays Seattle firefighter Maya Bishop.

Danielle has also taken on stand out roles in movies taking the leading role in Boogeyman 2, Happily Never After and Deep Blue Sea 2. She has also started in several independent films including, The Perfect Stalker, The Wrong Car, Adulterers and Wild About Harry.

Danielle has starred in a number of short films including Amy’s Choice, A Cohort of Guests, Hit or Miss, Knock Knock and Collar. Further to starring in short films, Danielle has also produced a number of them including Knock Knock.

As well as her acting credits, in 2013 Danielle released her first EP of original songs, which can be downloaded via iTunes .

In 2021, Danielle turned her hand at directing – writing and directing the award winning short film HEaRD. More recently, Danielle directed the Station 19 season 6 episode Dirty Laundry.
